Are Udimi Solo Ads Really Worth The Risk?

So, with solo ads you're essentially paying for the opportunity to place your offer in front of someone else's list or audience that they've put in the time and effort to build up.

The benefit is that you get push button traffic without having to lift a finger on your part and solo ads can be a really fast and effective way to test new offers.

However, that being said, there are a lot of scammers and vultures in the industry that prey on innocent newbies since most of the people just getting started with buying solo ads are inexperienced, and don't know anything about tracking their links, and whether or not they're getting taken advantage of.

Now, one of the more popular marketplaces to purchase solo ads is a platform called Udimi.

An advantage of Udimi being a marketplace, where other users can leave feedback, is that you significantly increase your chances of success...or at least not getting completely screwed by the seller, as opposed to if you were buying from someone you have never purchased solo ads from before directly through their own website.

However, that doesn't mean you're immune to having a couple of dud campaigns or orders of clicks that give you absolutely zero results.

So, here's a couple of things you can do to increase your chances of success with running solo ads...

Make sure you have an email follow up sequence - Most people that lose money or barely break even from buying solo ads do zero follow up. They send traffic directly to an offer or directly to an optin page and then to the offer...and that's it. You need to do more than that. Because even the best marketers who buy paid traffic and solo ads oftentimes don't break even or make a profit right out of the gate. But they know their numbers, because they've tested the traffic several times, and they know that after a certain number of days or weeks, they're generally going to be in profit. These are things that newbies often don't take the time to plan out, and is why most people give up in the beginning when buying solo ads.

Test more than one seller - If you buy one set of clicks and it doesn't work out, no biggie. Try again with another seller. Online marketing is just like any other business...and you need to have a budget for your marketing. If a real businesses collapsed or gave up all together after a single campaign, then I think you'll agree that it really wasn't much of a business. You've got to always be trying different things. Some things aren't going to work out. But, when you do find a solid vendor who sends you traffic that converts consistently, it generally tends to pay for all of your losses.

Which translates to, if you want to continue to have a thriving business, you need to continue to advertise and get exposure for the products and services you're promoting.

So, in summary, if you're wondering if Udimi solo ads are a wise investment or not I would say of course they are...if you go into buying them with a clear plan and you're disciplined and focused.

But, if you just jump in and start buying solo ads and throwing them at a bunch of random offers with no email followup sequences, then that's just recipe for failure.

There are other vendors outside of the Udimi marketplace that you can purchase decent clicks from, that also give you the ability to scale considerably.

So, something you may consider is becoming a vendor on a site like Udimi, then essentially being a middle man between the Udimi platform and the source you're purchase from, and pocketing the difference.

For instance, if you sold clicks for 75 cents on Udimi, but then could purchase them for 55 cents some place else, if someone bought a thousand clicks from you on Udimi...and that happened again and again...this could certainly add up over time and be a nice side or full-time income, without much effort on your part.
