Clickbait Affiliate Marketing Advertising Campaign

Without giving away too much, and really learning and understand the different techniques to earn affiliate commissions (no matter what the niche is that you choose), read on and learn all about the various ways to perform affiliate marketing. Is affiliate marketing only possible with a site? Without a site, is affiliate marketing even possible? In short, absolutely. Affiliate marketing absolutely is possible without a site. In fact, there actually are other forms of affiliate marketing, and though the one with a site is by far the most common, it is certainly not the only one.

When an advertiser chooses to market affiliate products through a blog, forum, Ezine or newsletter, he is choosing to reach a specific audience or group of people. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on expensive television or radio ads, or on high priced magazine advertising, the advertiser can reach a targeted audience for pennies or even less. This form of advertising allows the marketer to not only increase his sales per sale, but also allows him to change the products and/or services that he offers each day, according to what the marketer deems to be in demand. How does this relate to affiliate marketing? Quite a bit!

One of the main reasons affiliate marketing has become so popular is the fact that it does not require you to have an elaborate website or any type of fancy advertising. The reason why all these campaigns fail, is because the marketer usually builds the website himself or herself or finds someone who is willing to build it for them, and then puts in all of their own hard work promoting the campaign. This is usually done through high conversion web pages or websites with unrealistic expectations. When these websites do not convert well, they often fold quickly, leaving the affiliate with nothing to show for their efforts. The result is usually an empty pocket book and an empty website.

In contrast, affiliate marketing campaigns that use high converting ad exchanges, high quality content publishing platforms and word-of-mouth marketing strategies can actually be profitable. The reason is because the affiliate marketer does not need to put in all of his/her own work in order to generate income. Instead, the affiliate marketer works for the publisher or webmaster, who in turn pays the affiliate a commission for referring customers. Affiliate marketers commonly use pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and keyword-optimized content publishing platforms. By creating a huge traffic flow to the publisher's site, the affiliate marketer can make a nice commission from each referral.

Affiliate marketing does not require one to build a high quality website. Even though it does take a lot of time and effort to create a quality website, the cost is worth it when compared to the potential earnings of PPC ads or Google AdWords. Affiliate marketers can choose to either run their own pay-per-click advertising campaigns or to use high-paying third party ad exchanges such as Google AdSense. Affiliate websites that use these third party ad exchanges will not appear on search engine results pages, so the actual performance of the website will not be determined directly by PPC or AdSense. However, if PPC or AdSense ads are placed on the top or side of the page, a visitor to the publisher's site will have an idea of how well the website is performing relative to its sponsored advertisements.

It is important for affiliate marketing to have high click-through rates (CTR) in order to get good revenue from advertising. A good CTR can be defined as the percentage of total clicks on the advertiser's ad that result in the visitor making a purchase. Many affiliate marketing programs offer both standard and custom rates for clicks. Calculating a good conversion rate requires taking into consideration many factors including the number of times the visitor has been on the affiliate marketing website, length of time they have been there, and what they are searching for.

Another important aspect of making money with affiliate marketing is to make sure you are only placing your ads on sites that will actually generate the revenue you are looking for. Many affiliate marketing programs will offer a free report that will tell the advertiser how many clicks on their ads have generated. If you place too many ads on high-cost sites with low-converting content, you will not generate enough revenue to make money with affiliate marketing. There are also affiliate marketing programs that let advertisers choose the exact keywords they want their ads to appear on.

Some of the more popular affiliate networks include the Amazon affiliate network, ClickBank, Google's AdSense program, JVZoo, Kibbitz, Link Share, and ShareASale. These affiliate networks provide easy access for merchants to sell their products and allow affiliates to promote those products through a variety of web channels. Some of these affiliate networks, such as Amazon, charge to affiliate marketers a fee for their products to be promoted, but others, such as the Amazon affiliate network, which does not charge a fee, provide the tools and infrastructure needed to promote the product without cost. The most important thing an affiliate marketer needs to become proficient at is selecting and using the right keywords to drive traffic to their website and converting those visitors into sales. If you want to be successful in affiliate marketing, you need to spend some time studying keywords and learning how to use them effectively in your ads and your websites.
