Domain Name Cloaking Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is probably the easiest way to earn cash online through blogging. All you have to do is write about related topics and post links on your site. If your blog is new, you can begin earning immediately. You simply have to promote related products in your blog and when a person buys these products with your link, you'll get some profit from the business s profit. It really is that simple.

However, this is not the entire truth about affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is good because it brings hordes of traffic to your web page or blog. In fact, with thousands of web browsers surfing the internet everyday, affiliate marketing can bring in huge amounts of profits for you. The problem is however, when this happens, so do the scams that abound in the cyber world.

One of the most common schemes that you will come across with affiliate marketing is what is called malware. Malware is not something that you have dreamed of. You might be thinking what malware is. Well, malware is a kind of online scheme where hackers steal your affiliate links and end up making commissions from them. These commissions can be quite huge indeed! This is where you run the risk of falling prey to some rather unsavory individuals who are only looking to use you for their own personal gain.

Sometimes people will go to great lengths to cloak their IP addresses. This means that even if you might be following a legitimate affiliate link, the hackers know exactly where you are located. So, while you might be getting some decent commissions from your affiliate marketing campaign, they know that you will not be sending out your commissions to them directly. They will instead send the commissions to an IP address which will help them keep the operation going.

In order to combat this, there is a great tool available known as "Link Trackr". This is a very powerful program that works by intercepting the affiliate marketing links. Then it works with various plug-ins to either change the IP address or to redirect them to another location. By the time you realise what has happened, usually your website has been hacked!

Another form of this type of hacking comes from the likes of AdWare and other malware such as "Spyware". All of these work by hijacking your affiliate links and changing them so they appear to be from a different website. Unfortunately, while most people are aware of this, few know about cloak affiliate links.

So, what are these seven reasons for cloak affiliate links? The most common reason is that hackers like to use these in order to redirect traffic to their own websites, and then they can use those clicks to make a commission themselves. However, there are more serious reasons for this as well. This article talks about some of the other ways that hackers use this form of malware and redirects.

Some popular examples of this include hijacking comment spam and phishing scams. These work by installing a false WordPress plugin that automatically starts an affiliate marketing campaign. They then use the plugin to redirect any visitors who have been redirected to that site to a sales page. Fortunately, one of the most effective ways of fighting this type of thing is to ensure that your website allows you to disable this type of functionality. The best way of doing this is to install a WordPress plugin called "WordPress Cash Back", which is free, and then enable" Perkins Enablement Tracking" on your website. This will prevent any future unscrupulous marketers hijacking your affiliate marketing links and turning them into cash generators themselves!
