Public Affiliate Marketing Networks

Affiliate marketing is a marketing model where a business compensates independent publishers to create free traffic or leads for its products and services. The publishers are known as affiliates, and the fee they get from the business compensates them for finding ways to market the business to other people. Affiliates can create blogs, websites, articles, email campaigns, and anything else related to the affiliate program. In order to be a successful, long-term affiliate, you should find an affiliate program that fits your interests and is affordable. There are many different networks, some more popular than others, that you may want to join.

The first network is the Google AdSense program. Google has affiliate programs with a wide range of publishers that pay different percentages of revenue or clicks to banners and links on their site. The commissions range from one percent to seventy-five percent. The most common commissions are one percent, but you can find publishers who offer higher percentages.

The second network, called Pay Per Click, is much less popular. This model involves paying a small fee to search engines to place your advertisement on their search engines. Pay Per Click is not as popular because it is less effective, especially when compared to PPC advertising.

A third model, called Pay Per Action, is probably the most popular model. This advertising model pays affiliate marketers based on the number of times that they promote the product or service. Some marketers make a good amount of money on PPC campaigns, while others struggle. This is because the success of any campaign largely depends on how many people are going to see an advertisement. An ad that gets displayed only five or ten times will not have much of a chance of becoming profitable.

Digital marketing involves using digital products such as eBooks or videos to advertise affiliate products. There are two types of digital marketing: Pay Per View and Pay Per Action. Pay Per View uses video ads to describe the affiliate product. Pay Per Action is where an affiliate marketer can create a mini-course or video about the product.

Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace allow members to share information about their products or services. It is the most effective way to earn commissions through affiliate marketing networks. By following other members, you increase your chances of making a sale. You can also earn commissions by sharing other member's content, which will drive more people to your digital marketing website.

A fourth affiliate marketing program is called ShareAsale and has earned the title of the world's largest affiliate network. ShareAsale is similar to other networks in that you get paid when someone purchases a product through your referral link. The difference is that other publishers pay affiliates on a percentage basis instead of a flat commission. Therefore, if you get 100 referrals, you could easily earn a commission of $100.

The fourth type of program is called the unattached affiliate marketing network. This type of digital marketing involves one affiliate marketing company and its associated publishers. The goal of this model is to provide publishers with a ready list of affiliates without any form of relationship between the publisher and the individual affiliate. Affiliates are usually recruited directly through the companies, instead of through related affiliate marketing programs. The primary advantage of this type of commission model is that there is no specific time frame required for recruiters to receive payment.

Finally, the last type of affiliate marketing program I'll discuss is called the smart Passive or the SMO model. The smart Passive affiliate marketing program is a revenue sharing revenue-sharing system. In essence, smart passive affiliate programs require that the publisher take a portion of the revenue that their distributor(s) earn from the sales of products or services and then give that portion to the affiliate. Obviously, the more affiliates who are recruited, the greater the share of the revenue the publisher will receive.

To summarize, there are four main affiliate marketing program models. These include a revenue sharing commission model, a revenue-share based compensation plan, the Attach & Share program, and the Smart Passive model. There are several different models in between these four primary models. Regardless, of the type of commission an affiliate marketing program to offer, they all generally follow a common formula that requires the creation of a comprehensive marketing plan in order for the affiliate marketing program to be successful.
